I am an award winning photographer located in Fujinomiya, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan and am recently semi-retired from the Staten Island Advance. I started my career as a stringer for the Associated Press in Pittsburgh, PA following a year of study in the Art Institute of Pittsburgh’s photography/multimedia program and I have worked at daily newspapers in New Castle, PA , West Chester, Pa., Philadelphia, PA., and New York City. Throughout my career I have pursued my own personal work and have exhibited my work in numerous solo and group exhibitions. I have also served on the board of the Alice Austen House Museum.
